On the weekend of 23/24th May we attended the ever popular Herts County Show. The show was blessed with dry weather and buzzing with an estimated 30,000 visitors. The Glinwell/ Cannatella & Colletti stall proved very popular as people admired our freshly harvested produce and enjoyed tasting samples of our delicious gourmet sauces and dips. Our friendly team were on hand to explain what a versatile ingredient they are in a variety of recipes and subsequently business was booming!
Not only did we receive lovely comments from visitors about the freshness of our produce, but we are delighted to report that we won First Prize for the best Food Hall stand. In doing so we beat stiff competition from 25 other artisan producers of sausages, cheese, seafood, olives, fruit, wine and even gin!
We’ll definitely be back next year, but you don’t need to wait that long to get your hands on our delicious fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and gourmet sauces. Come and see us at the Stable Yard Farmers Market at Hatfield House. Held on the 3rd Sunday of every month we’ll be there on June 21st from 10am-2pm.
